CPD Compliance Checkup

Compliance requirement = 50 CPD hours

Claim EA: Professional Reading CPD hours with AMA CPD Home. Learn more in our helpful article and log your hours.

As we fast approach the end of the CPD year, you should be nearing, or have completed, your 50 CPD hours for this year.

Let’s do a final CPD health check to ensure you meet your CPD compliance for 2025.

These are questions pertinent for AMA CPD Home subscribers. AMA (WA) members can sign-up to to the Home Subscriber subscription plan for free via the AMA (WA) member portal.

1. Have you completed and recorded 50 hours across two learning domains and addressed the CAPE aspects?

Your total CPD hours and your CPD status can be seen on your Dashboard and under Reports of your CPD Tracker. By the end of this year, you should have completed a minimum of 50 CPD hours across the two learning domains. These activities were either self-recorded or automatically uploaded after completing learning listed in our Catalogue, unless otherwise stated by our Contributors.

Always check the CPD Program to identify which activities fall under the mandatory learning domains and that the minimum hours for each domain have been met.

2. Have you uploaded supporting evidence for all self-recorded activities?

Your self-recorded activities must include supporting evidence to ensure you are audit ready. A paperclip symbol in the Self-recorded activities indicates that supporting evidence has been uploaded.

Supporting evidence for your activities is represented in many formats, such as certificates of completion, statements of attendance, meeting logs or de-identified meeting notes. You can use the documents sent to you by education providers, or complete the logs and templates found under Resources on your CPD Tracker.

If you are subscribed to Home Subscriber with Concierge, book a 1:1 Tracking Assist consultation to find out what is missing. We can handle this part of the paperwork for you.

3. Have you reflected on your CPD Plan?

Remember the CPD Plan you wrote at the beginning of the year? The learning goals and three focus topic areas identified in your CPD Plan are now pre-populated in your CPD Reflection. Revisiting your written CPD Plan will allow you to reflect on the achievements of the year and help identify areas of focus for next year.

Bonus! By completing your CPD Reflection, under the CPD Home Program you will automatically meet the minimum 5 hours of Reviewing Performance CPD set by the Standard*.

4. Have you downloaded your Statement of Completion?

Once you have met your mandatory requirements, including recording high-level requirements if required – indicated by green ticks in your Dashboard – your Statement of Completion will be automatically generated and available for download. Save and store your Statement of Completion in the event of an audit.

Contact us at cpdhome.org.au/contact if you have any enquiries relating to your AMA CPD Home subscription or compliance.
