Ramping stays off peak, but record country hours

St John recorded 4,401 hours of ambulance ramping in November, compared to 4,432 hours in October. November 2024 had 4,848 hours of ramping. This recent two-month period followed a sustained three-month period featuring record-breaking ramping in July (7,012 hours), August (7,060 hours) and September (7,274 hours).

Record country ramping

November had 295 country ramping hours, surpassing the record 263 hours set in September. October had 187 hours. Bunbury Regional Hospital (272 hours) had most of this record ramping.

  • Fiona Stanley Hospital: 783 (753)
  • Joondalup Hospital: 569 (597)
  • King Edward Memorial Hospital: 2 (4)

  • Perth Children’s Hospital: 5 (6)
  • Rockingham Hospital: 224 (349)
  • Royal Perth Hospital: 932 (854)
  • Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital: 672 (664)
  • St John of God Midland: 642 (627)
