MEDBALL25 was a great night for socialising, with plenty of dance floor action to the sounds of band Gemini. The fun times had an even greater outcome: raising vital funds for the AMA (WA) Foundation. The night’s fundraising supported programs such as Dr YES and Youth Friendly Doctor training, which empower young people and future doctors to make informed, healthy choices.
Congratulations to our raffle winner Dr Vivienne Chukwunkee, who won a well-earned family holiday at Smiths Beach Resort, and our Plantagenet Wall of Wine prize winner Dr Paul McGurgan. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to those who won items in the Live and Silent Auctions on the night.
Thanks also to our Dr YES volunteers who helped with our fundraising activations: Shannon, Esther, Isabeau, Krittika, Joel, Ananyna, Adi, Sean, Kahan and Jeeya.

“ Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to reach over 1,500 new students in communities as far as Albany and Esperance in our next Dr YES rural trip in 2026. Your contribution has made a real difference in empowering young Australians to make informed decisions about their health. Thank you for your ongoing support of Dr YES!~ Shannon, Dr YES Team Leader
